The Kara, a special bracelet, is handcrafted in Amritsar, India and is made of 100% stainless steel. It’s high polish is achieved without the use of chemicals or chrome plating.
This Kara has a hand engraved mantra written in Gurmukhi, a language with roots in the 4000 year old Sanskrit. It has a flat shape which offers a wider surface to the outside and inside, giving it a very fine presence, combined with a comfortable light weight.
The engraving on this Kara is the Mool Mantra. It is on the outside and reads:
Ek Ong Kar, Sat Nam, Karta Purkh, Nirbhau, Nirvair, Akal Moorat, Ajoonee, Saibhang, Gur Prasaad. Jap. Aad Sach, Jugad Sach, Hai Bhee Sach, Nanak Hosee Bhee Sach.
This mantra can be translated as:
