Details

Tingsha bells are small basins (cymbals) that are used in prayer and rituals by Tibetan Buddhist practitioners. The two cymbals are connected by a leather strap. The cymbals are beaten and give a clear and high tone together.
Om Mani Padme Hum is the most famous mantra of Buddhism: 'Blessed the pearl of the lotus flower'. This mantra offers protection against any kind of danger.

You can tap the two slices together to create a beautifully clear high tone, which lingers for a long time, purifies the atmosphere and evokes an extraordinary sense of silence. The sparkling tone of a tingsha resonates right into our hearts.
Tingshas are also used in feng shui to purify the energy in a room by making them sound in four corners of a room. A wonderful way of energy purification when working with incense is not an option!
Because they have a healing and balancing effect on our aura, they are also used to indicate the beginning and the end of a meditation period. It is said that the use of tingshas works as a way to keep our attention in the here and now.

Composition: Each tingsha is cast separately in various metal alloys, usually consisting of at least three different metals. Most cymbals are made of bronze, which mainly consists of copper and tin.
